Using Mission Planner

  • Connect your vehicle aircraft to the ground station computer using the a micro USB cable

  • Open Launch the Mission Planner Program

  • Selecting the “Data” icon at the top of the window to open the Mission Planner’s Planner Flight Data screen

  • On Select the bottom left, select the “DataFlash Logs” tab and push on the lower left pane of the window

  • Click the “Download DataFlash Log Via Mavlink” button

    • Select the log(s) you want to download from the left pane of the popup window

      • Any logs with a date of 12/31/1979 were created when the aircraft did not have a GPS lock. As a result these logs usually indicate the times the copter was powered on while indoors.

    • Click “Download Selected Logs” button

      • Wait for the log files to download
