    • image-20250327-205402.png
    • The correct selection will depend on the configuration of your PC

    • On most newer SE-8 aircraft you will see the words “Cube” and “Mavlink” in the appropriate selection

    • If using a USB connection you may leave the baud rate (the 57600 number) menu on the current selection

  • Click connect to begin connecting to the aircraft

  • Selecting the “Data” icon at the top of the window to open the Mission Planner Flight Data screen

  • Select the “DataFlash Logs” tab on the lower left pane of the window

  • Click the “Download DataFlash Log Via Mavlink” button

  • Select the log(s) you want to download from the left pane of the popup window

    • Any logs with a date of 12/31/1979 were created when the aircraft did not have a GPS lock. As a result these logs usually indicate the times the copter was powered on while indoors.

  • Click “Download Selected Logs” button

    • Wait for the log files to download

This will save the selected log(s) to your Documents>MissionPlanner>logs>in a folder named after the vehicle type, such as OCTOCOPTER.
