Disable Telemetry Alarms

Some Alta X RFD900X kits may be receiving false Mavlink messages which can give an audible alarm stating “telemetry lost”. While we are working on a new firmware and script for the radio consider this is a hotfix for removing the warning. You will still be able to read RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) on the top right of your home status screen. The Alta X will also have the ability to set up fail-safe commands if the signal is in fact lost. Please refer to the Alta X operations manual for how to set up the Alta X fail-safes.

1. Hold down the MDL button on the Horus

2. Select PgUp/Dn to scroll over to the “Logical Switches” menu

3. With L01 selected, hold down on the scroll wheel until a menu pop up. Select “clear” to delete the logical switch. The highlighted selection is displayed as the darker shade of blue.

4. Repeat the previous step for L02
