This installation can be performed without disassembling the ALTA X, however, the photo below has the top removed to provide a better picture. Use this photo as a reference for the installation steps below.

  1. Remove the cover to the SBUS compartment. Plug the female connector of the splitter cable into the RFD SBUS cable. Plug one of the male connectors into the aircraft SBUS servo.

  2. Plug the decoder SBUS cable into the remaining connector on the splitter cable. Route the decoder SBUS cable through the bottom of the drone and into the right side of the SBUS compartment as shown in the photos below.

  3. The SBUS to PWM Decoder has been preconfigured with 4 PWM channels assigned to the following switch position PWM #1 = Switch SG

    PWM #2 = Switch SB

    PWM #3 = Knob S2

    PWM #4 = knob S1

  4. After confirming the system is working correctly, lock the three servo connections with the provided servo clips. Bundle wires inside the compartment and replace the cover.
