Setting Channels on SBUS to PWM Decoder
Plug the servo whip from the SBUS to PWM decoder into the port labeled “Servo” on the channel changer. Plug a 5 - 16V power source into the “BAT” port. Polarity is indicated on the channel changer, make sure connections are made with correct polarity.
The top number on the channel changer display will show you the setting of the current channel selected on the decoder. The LED on the decoder indicates which channel is currently selected. Toggle between the 4 channels by hitting the button on the decoder.
Using the scroll wheel on the left side of the channel changer, scroll down until the bottom (“Set-To:”) number is highlighted. Once this number is highlighted, click the scroll wheel once to allow you to change the number. Scroll up/down to change the number.
When changing the number on the channel changer, scrolling up causes the number to go down and scrolling down causes the number to go up.
Once the desired number is displayed, click the scroll wheel again to unselect. Scroll up to highlight “SET”, click scroll wheel to select. The top number should change to match the number you just selected as your setting.
Use the button on the decoder to switch to the next channel and change to desired setting. Repeat for all 4 channels.
The highlighted selection sometimes disappears if you scroll to far up or down and does not come back. If this happens, reboot the channel changer and the highlighted section will be back on the screen.
Freefly East Channel Setting Standard
This standard is based on the Freefly East standard radio setup for an Alta X with an integrated RFD. This puts the channels on two 3 position switches and two dials to give clients the most versatile options for controlling auxiliary devices. This is the suggested configuration, but the channels can be set to whatever best suites your mission.
Decoder Channel (port) | Channel Setting | Switch |

1 | 10 | SG |
