AltaX S.Bus to PWM Decoder with Power Injection Integration Guide

Servo Y power injector cable

 

 

 

 

This installation can be performed without disassembling the ALTA X, however, the photo below has the top removed to provide a better picture. Use this photo as a reference for the installation steps below.

 

 

1. Install the 5v DC to DC regulator in the front wall location of the aircraft as shown above using the two M3 screws shown below.

 

 

2. Connect XT-60 from Servo Y power injector cable into the output of the DC to DC converter and route the servo wires into the S.Bus compartment

 

 

3. Plug the S.Bus wire coming from the RFD into the Y adapter

 

 

4. Connect the servo plug labeled “To Aircraft” to AltaX’s S.Bus input wire.

 

 

5. Plug the S.Bus-to-PWM Decoder into the connector labeled “To Payload”. It can be routed out of the right side of the S.Bus compartment and out the bottom of the drone as shown.

 

 

6. The S.Bus to PWM Decoder has been preconfigured with 4 PWM channels assigned to the following switch positions

PWM #1 = Switch SG

PWM #2 = Switch SB

PWM #3 = Knob S2

PWM #4 = knob S1

 

 

7. After confirming the system is working correctly, lock the three servo connections with the provided servo clips.
