Introduction

The Alta-X requires an adapter to add additional PWM or relay outs for triggering devices. The UAX PWM adapter for the Alta-X uses the mavlink telemetry stream coming from the aircraft to listen for and respond to aircraft events.

The default programming is send a “high” PWM signal for approximately 1 second when the unit has observed a camera shutter command ACK packaet from the flight controller.

Operation

• Open QGC on the GCS tablet

  • Wait for a connection to the aircraft

• Select the gear icon on the right side panel

  •  

    Open

    

• Select “Camera”

  •  

    Open

    

• Press the trigger button

  •  

    Open

    

  • The PWM signal will respond to this button
