UAX Alta-X Remote ID Module
Introduction
This module adds Remote ID Broadcast compliance to any Alta X aircraft. The unit has a built-in GPS. It is powered by the aircraft. The unit is conformal to the arm joint and is designed to be compatible with all Alta-X aircraft and travel cases.
Normal Operations
In normal operation the module does not require any interaction. The module will turn on and off with the aircraft.
The unit contains two status lights. The first is a Red “Fault” light that indicates faults or programming mode. The second is a green status light. The light will turn on solid green during boot and search for GPS signal. The green light will then blink (with a period of 1 sec on followed by 3 sec off) when it is broadcasting with a valid location.
The UAS operator must confirm the unit is broadcasting before takeoff. This can be accomplished by checking that the green status light is blinking -or- by using a RemoteID app to verify the aircraft is transmitting the require info aircraft.
